Letterpress, Engraving, and Offset Printing Papers:

Our roots are in printing, and we love to make paper for books. Our papers are known for printing beautifully, and most people enjoy printing on our paper dry as well as damp. If there isn't e nough of the paper you want in stock, we'll be happy to make a custom order for you in the color, size, thickness, and surface you prefer. For large orders, quantity discounts may apply. Call Kathryn Clark at 800-757-8946 to discuss the project. For offset printing, handmade papers are never as consistent in thickness as machine made papers, nor are they coated for 4 color process dotscreen images. However, we can keep the thickness within plus or minus .001", and offer both a coldpress and hotpressed surface.

Conservation Bookbinding:

Twinrocker makes several papers which are compatible in color and thickness with old and rare books. They are handmade from cotton and linen rag, are a neutral pH, as are all Twinrocker papers, with an archival, internal sizing. (They can be surface sized with gelatine on request.) Most are made in an Antique Laid as well as a Wove surface. They include these color names: "Arthur's Prairie", "Chapin","Delphi", "Fine Grit", "Rotunda", "Yale". Most of these papers are mad e in an especially thin sheet called "TT" Thin Text (.004"-.005") as well as in "T" Text (.005"-.007"), and "HT" Heavy Text (.007"-.010"). "Bleached Abaca" in a "LA" Light Art weight, Rough surface is very nice for paper case binding covers.
