PAPER STORAGE CABINETS We store a lot of paper and have found the Stacor/Archive Designs flat files to be the best value. They work well under constant use, other large files will sag and become difficult to open and close. The smallest size holds 18"x24" paper and the largest drawer size is 38"x50". Each unit has 5 drawers and multiple units can be stacked. If the files are going to stand alone you will need a 6 inch base. If you have unlevel floors, there is a leveling kit and if you need mobile flat files, there is a caster kit.

Here are the special features of the cabinets:

1. Factory-installed, integrated locking system included free! A single key locks all 5 drawers. No ugly external locking bars, hasps or padlocks.

2. Welded steel construction with 14-gauge corner posts permits cabinets to be stacked to any convenient height. Easily supports loaded work surface placed on top.

3. Powder-coated finish. Beautiful, mar-resistant, washable surfaces for a permanently new appearance.

4. Double-wall drawer fronts. Protects precious documents and artwork from damage by providing smooth, snag-free inner drawer surfaces without sharp steel edges, screwheads or other projections.

5. Parallel-action front paper depressor. Holds papers flat to prevent lifting and curling. Always lies flat without leaving marks. Easily removable.

6. Rear hood on each drawer. Prevents papers from curling or sliding over the back of the drawer.

7. Drawers have self-closing, anti-bounceback action. Drawers close themselves with a single push; hold themselves in the open position for easy removal and replacement of contents; cannot accidentally be pulled out of the cabinet.

8. Case-hardened steel ball bearing rollers. Smooth drawer action and lifetime durability.

9. Large label holders on each drawer and polished, cast metal handles.

20-INCH HIGH BASE (Optional) The High Base raises the cabinet 20" above the floor to counter height (37-1/2") and provides a large shelf for storage. Enclosed sides and back give the High Base a clean, finished appearance. Equipped with adjustable levelers.

6-INCH HIGH CLOSED BASE (Optional) A heavy-guage steel frame raises the cabinet 6 inches off the floor. The front is recessed to provide a comfortable toe space when standing in front of the cabinet.

CASTER and LEVELER KITS (Optional) The Caster Kit is a set of 4 non-marring wheels that attach to the 6-inch Base and allow the Cabinets to be easily moved around; raises the cabinet 1/2". The Leveler Kit provides adjustable levelers to compensate for uneven floors.
